I recently bought one of those short austrian carbines like was in north south traders a while back. it is rifled. I need one of the bullets that would have been fired through it for display purposes.
It's not always "Survival of the fitest" sometimes the idiots get through.

  I have several battlefield-dug unfired .71-caliber minies for your Austrian.  Mine were dug at Port Hudson LA, and thus have nice smooth white patina.  I've checked them with Digital Calipers to prove they are indeed the .71-caliber size.  I'll send you a Private Message with more details.
