Wishing all the folks a safe and Happy New Year (if you go out for New Years Eve be safe). For the southern folks make sure you eat your black eyed peas on New Years Day to bring prosperity into your lives. My grand dad always cooked the black eyes with a silver dollar in the pot on New Years day, didn't work for me but EMIKE123 must have had lots of black eyes on New Years as deep as his pockets appear to be.

I always eat black eyed peas, corned beef and cabbage on New Year's eve.  Sometimes Shelby beans.  Must be that and all my good, clean living that are the reasons for what Lloyd Benson would call "the illusion of prosperity" I cast.
