1907 Bannerman's Catalog
« on: February 22, 2022, 06:17:56 PM »
Today I got a box full of books and there were two Bannerman's catalogs in there.  Sigh, here are two items from the July, 1907 catalog:

Mike, do you have any idea where that "museum collection of Civil War Trophy Projectiles" is today?    I wish there were better pictures so I could get a close look at each of those shells with their provenance.    I hope it wasn't melted down in one of those scrap drives for WWI or II?   That is amazing.   Hopefully it's sitting in some dude's collection.

The 9" guns have really gone up in price.  We'll need to show that to Glenn D. to see if he'll match it!

Amazing group of shells.  I wonder where the Athens Double Barrel chain shot is?  I remember that cannon very well having gone to college there.
Best,
Carl
