Gettysburg trip.
« on: June 21, 2021, 07:42:29 PM »
Just returned from Gettysburg. Had a great time. Yes I know should have waited a couple of weeks to go. My wife got the dates mixed up when she put in for vacation.

You probably picked a good time to go.  Still not overly warm and hopefully the crowds weren't too bad yet.  It gets very busy in the summer and on holidays.  The July 4th weekend I hear is packed.   Hope you were able to find some good treasures in the shops there.  No doubt a bunch of relics to look at.
Best,
Carl

Yes it wasn't crowded at all. It was actually very slow it seemed. Glad we got out before those storms hit. I did get to spend time and money in the Union Drummer Boy. The Horse Soldier was open one day without appointment i saw something i decided later i wanted went back the next day they were closed.
