Title: 3 Bullets wanted
Post by: bsize1 on March 20, 2014, 02:14:02 PM
Hello,
I am looking to complete my Sharps bullet collection and am looking for 8-10 nice bullets of three variants:
1)     MM         462/463     "long"
2)     MM         467            "short"
3)     Thomas   114B         'w/teat"
Any suggestions or leads?
Thanks,Bobby

Bobby, let me welcome you to the forum. These are common bullets and easy to locate. The MM-462/463/466 are the same bullet that is undersized and was the first pattern Richmond sharps. The MM-464/465 are the same bullet and they are the 2nd pattern Richmond sharps produced in the correct size.

The MM-467 Union sharps is common (photo in the MM is an odd shaped and looks carved where the top band should be located) as well as the teat based sharps being common with a ton of variants.

If you live near any of the major/minor battle sites they should all be readily available in local shops.

Sorry for taking so long to respond but I have been out of the country and my work schedule has gone back to a 6 and/or 7 day a week and haven't had much time to spend on the forum.
