reproduction CSA shell/ball land torpedo wanted
« on: May 29, 2013, 12:17:07 AM »
Hi guys,

am new to the site, I am looking for a display copy of a 1864-65 CSA torpedo with the rain/reins brass time fuse.

somebody on the web was selling them for 70.00, but he no longer makes that particular shell and I am looking to get one for a 1864 Atlanta campaign display.

thanks for any help!!
But the enemy is here!, we did not want the fight, but the fight is here! R.E.Lee, 1993.

Can you post an exact photo of what you're looking for. Might be able to help.

My guess is its one of these resin copies, or similar

They have been unavailable for a while.  Not sure why the maker doesn't make more because people ask about them from time to time.
