Looking For Missing Shell
« on: March 11, 2015, 03:40:02 AM »
I have a friend who found this shell quite a few years ago.  On an impulse he sold the shell and it changed hands through a few dealers.  Last it was seen was on Harry Ridgeway's site which is where these images are from. (Thanks Harry!)   My friend very much regrets selling it and would very much like to get this shell back.  Unfortunately Harry sold it at a show and can't recall who bought it.  If anyone should now the whereabouts of this shell we would very much like to know who has it.  Even better if the current owner would be willing to sell it.  Any info please contact Carl.  Thanks.

Dave,

Good question.  From the pictures it has no perspective and the profile does look like those baby Read shells from SC.  This one is for a 10-lber so it is 3-inch or 2.9-inch.  I am not sure which.
Best,
Carl
