Description: This was a nice, dug Maynard cartridge that fell apart on me. In so doing it revealed a small disc that went directly under the slug between it and the powder. I did not know this part existed. The Maynard slug itself is MM629 with the small cone cavity. M&M have this listed as an unknown carbine, but now we know for sure and the lucky buyer gets the cartridge remnants too with the heretofore unknown disc
