Confederate 6pdr canister reconstructed by David Gotter. Mr. Gotter has won numerous awards at the most prestigious shows for his canister display. He figured out that CS 6pdr canister use 23 1.25" diameter shot as opposed to Federal canister which have 27 smaller shot.

The top of this rebuilt stand looks to me to be a reproduction as is most often the case since these tops are made of very thin metal and don't usually survive. The rest is original.

This is a consignment item and listed for what the consignor paid. Because these are a little tricky to ship, the consignor will ship it directly to the purchaser and I will pay him after hearing that the round arrived in good order.
