I've been using the word exquisite a lot in the last couple days but fortunately the recent buys have had some top notch shells in them. Many I would have kept in my collection but prefer to keep what I have found and this is one of those.

The iron on this is just baby butt smooth and shows a nice mold seam. Along the seam you can see a faint vent mark with a couple chisel marks as well. It is everything you want in a solid shot.

This widely used caliber ball was used in siege and garrison instances very effectively. Every collection should have one and this would be a cherry example.
