Description:We have had 3.4in Hotchkiss shells before but never one with the combination fuse. This makes the projectile post Civil War, but the gun that it was made for was 100% Civil War era. Missing the percussion fuse element that screwed into the center of the time fuse part, but otherwise mint. Has the "JB" inspector stamp in the lead sabot. Nice item.
