Hunley Update
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:54:46 AM »
Hello,

For those interested in the CS submarine, the Hunley, RelicRunner passed on this update:
     http://news.yahoo.com/experts-clues-sinking-confederate-sub-113855343.html
There is one of the best pictures of the sub in the article that I've seen.  I'd have to be really drunk to get in that and go out into Charleston Harbor in the dark!
Best,
Carl

Thanks for posting.
It's hard to believe that the Hunley held a crew of 8.

That is an awesome picture of the Hunley. Just a bit of histroy here but the reason for the name being just the H.L. Hunley and not CSS H.L. Hunley is because the submarine was under the control of the Army and not the Navy.
Hope everyone has a great day.
