Chicago Show This Weekend (9/15/

Hello all!  I just wanted to remind everyone that there is a show in the Chicago area Saturday.  I'm sure a number of our forumites will be there.  See the show section in bulletandshell.com for details or one of the many other sites that has show info.

It was a good show and better for both buying and selling our kind of stuff than usual.  Its more of a paper, gun, and sword show, and they didn't sell out the second building so the later period guys were in the main building with us CW purists.

Forumite Jon Patterson introduced himself to me and bought a nice polygonal ball along with some other things.  Ken had a Gatling gun on display.  Harvey was (& still is) lugging around a big old 11" ball he got from the Plumber.  Karl K. had one of those 8in balls with the funky tong holes that Lamar got at Richmond and about which we had much discussion here.  It is still for sale for a $300 or so if anyone wants to reach him.
