Neat.  I wonder if there is an effort underway to raise and display the ship.  Especially now that it is exposed it will be ravaged by the elements.

I just read about this battle in the book "A History of the Confederate Navy" by Raimondo Luraghi. It would be impressive to see what they can show us especially the battle damage they took.

Nothing to retrieve from this ship before it is covered up again?  It's not sitting in very deep water.
