Confederate D-guard

An oldtimer once told me there are no experts, just some know a bit more than others.  I have handled a goodly number & would be glad to chip in & try to answer questions.

I'm not - but I know people who are. I'll be happy to pass along any questions, etc. you might have.

I have the opertunity to buy one that it is definately blacksmith made. it just seems a little thin, maybe made from a cross cut saw or something. i like it but always thought original Confederate ones are thicker.
