Phil Ley Passed Yesterday....

He was the owner of Ohio Volunteer Relics and was truely a great guy as well as a talented musician.

I only casually knew him.  He seemed to be a very nice man.  His web site is:

and here you can see some pictures of him and his family that he was obviously proud of.

          Damn,    Phil was a great guy. A gentle soul and a wonderful human being. Honest as can be. Just a nice guy. The last few times I have seen him at shows, I saw his condition was worsening and I tried to spend time talking with him. Damn, I will personally miss him and remember him in a very positive light.
    I wish Phil, and his family, all the best thoughts I can muster.......I wish them all peace..
