That is a slotted time adapter from Selma. it looks very similar to the Brooke adapter but is for the 6 lber and 12 lber cannon balls. Note the Selma "G" on the shell as well. This fuse is on the bottom of page 49 of Chuck Jones book.

Thank you, that is a very unusual adapter.
Does anyone know who obtain the digital images or negatives of Chuck Jones's fujse/fze plates used to print his book?
