Port Hudson Dig
« on: February 11, 2012, 05:51:01 PM »
I have attached a pic of my 1862 dated Naval Fuse found at Pt Hudson last weekend just before the rain ended my dig.  Other than a few bullets, a curry comb frame and lots of frags that was it.

Nice, crisp stamp John.  Congrats.

By the way, did your battery konk out or did you hang up on me yesterday?  I was in full spin cycle of trying to convince you to give me a battlefield tour when you went silent.  My self esteem is wounded!

Great find John.  Love the patina and the markings.  Really special when they are so clear.  Congratulations.
Best,
Carl
