M&M 99
« on: February 17, 2023, 06:45:05 PM »
How many mold variants exist with the M&M 99 tear drop pattern pistol bullet?

It appears to me that M&M 85, 485, 500, and probably others are similar.  I see references made to a "second" style, but have never seen where it came from.

Hello aggiereb:

You might find this old thread of interest--see the old CW Bullet site: http://www.cwbullet.org/bullet-relic-forum/index.php?threads/leech-rigdon.4164/
I was involved in a discussion of these bullets.  The heading/topic: "Leech & Rigdon," from October 4, 2004.

Horace:

Thanks for pointing me toward the old forum referencing the M&M 99, etc.

It pretty well answered my questions.
