Jimmy was one of the two mentors I had early in the hobby. I lived in Northern Virginia then and had a girlfriend out in Centreville by where Jimmy had his shop. Pam was very nice, but I still wish I had spent more time with him than her because I learned so much about bullets and which units used which ones.
Its been a couple years since I saw Jimmy and, while it was like old times, age was catching up with him so I am not surprised by this notice. I wish I had known about it when I asked for a moment of silence before our show for the great ones who had recently passed. Will have to catch him next year...
