Unusual Carbine Bullets
« on: July 31, 2022, 06:00:04 PM »
I have come across these two interesting bullets in Terry Waxham's collection.
One is a Burnside with a deeper cavity than I have seen in the past. I have seen very few "dish" base
relative to digging the flat base version. This would classify as a "cup" base at approx .2" deep. Length .83" and width .55".

The other is odder to me. Looks like some sort of large caliber Sharps. Length .89" and width .59". Flat base.

Any input on these?
