Paper Time Fuses
« on: February 07, 2021, 04:14:24 PM »
I was hoping y'all could assist with some data gathering.  I'm looking to expand my collection of paper time fuses.  I currently have:
•   Black
•   Green
•   Red
•   30-sec
•   25-sec
•   20-sec
•   15-sec
•   10-sec
•   5-sec
•   4-sec
Does anyone know any other times that I should be looking for?  I would think there are some sizes between 5-sec and 10-sec.
Best,
Carl

8 (easy), 12 (not difficult), 35 (hardest), 40 (challenging)

Thanks for the info.  I need to look for that article in the Artilleryman on paper fuses.
Best,
Carl

Col. Biemecks book volume 2 page 303 has a chart of paper time fuses and their lengths

I didn't know that and just looked at it.  It's a very good start but some are missing.

Some fellow has a 6 second red fuse on eBay right now which is a pretty uncommon one.
