Explosive round?
« on: April 24, 2020, 12:39:20 PM »
Here's one that has me puzzled. It's a fired round and 1.125 in length and .59 wide, unfortunately I don't have a scale to weight it. It is pictured next to a dropped Gardiner round. The cavity is deep and appears blown out. I have never seen a fired Gardiner round and was wondering if they ever blew out the back like this. Any suggestions or help IDing this bullet will be appreciated. Thanks

Not an expert but I believe anything is possible when it comes to an explosive, no matter how small
It's not always "Survival of the fitest" sometimes the idiots get through.
