wonderfully said !!   Every one of us here that is a digger feels your loss. We all have our special friend digging buddy, through thick and thin, mentor and confidant. Ready to go. 
    I always say, " the best thing I ever found with my metal detector is my digging buddies, and the wild adventures we have had ". It ain't just the relics, it's the good times and comradery.  That includes you, by the way, D.P.….
