I found this large artillery shell in Charleston,SC at the site of the old Charleston Arsenal circa 1825. It is 16-17 inches tall, approximately 6" across and weighs 125lbs.Looks like a Parrot but I can find no Parrots at 125 lbs.....any ideas?

Exact Dimensions and weight will assist in positive ID.

Sir;
   The 100 pdr Parrott is 6.4 inches in diameter, however it does not come close to 125 pounds, not even a bolt. How accurate was your scales?  From your photo I really can't ell if it is fuzed or not.
    you were lucky you were not caught junting on the Arsenal grounds.

John
