Sadly this is the unfortunate news with regards to mbfrompb (Meigs) as he had a number of relics stolen from a friend's home (also a forumite) in Little Rock, AR. Some of the more notable items stolen include:
- US cartridge box plate converted to CS belt plate - RARE and should stand out if you see it
- US Breastplate stamped "WH Smith Brooklyn NY"
- Lead bar fragment with "&"
- .57 Marshall Texas Enfield with pocket knife cuts
- Rare solid cast "T Miller" Texas button
- .57 Triple pulled Enfield
- .52 CS "Fayetteville, NC Arsenal" minie with deep base and cap nose
- CS manufactured musket tompion
and quite a few other bullets, buttons, knapsack hooks, etc. They were in 3 wooden cases when stolen. These were a gift to his son so he would very much like to get them back.
