Title: unusual sighting
Post by: Dave the plumber on December 23, 2012, 06:33:36 PM
I was digging [ metal detecting ] down on Carolina Beach today, and ran across a black snake in the woods !!   Pretty unusual on 23rd December to see Mr. No-Shoulders out sunning himself !!  It was maybe 60 degrees here today...

I'm still seeing the alligater in the back yard, thought he would be hibernating now. Went diving today and the water temp in the water is 50 degrees.

I will definitely swap you a mess of wild hogs for some of the gators. The gator tail is a whole lot better eating than the hogs unless its a young one under about 80 pounds.

Dave, I hope your sighting happened at the spot we talked about on the telephone.  Did you get your detector repaired, or acquire a backup one?

Regards,
Pete
