Was scrolling through the Library of Congress Civil War images and downloaded this one:

Great Photo,  any clue where it was in and around Petersburg? Mike if I know you , you have that burst tube and those quilted grape in the garage! 😎

Well, it would've helped if I had not miss-labelled it.  This was actually in the Confederate fortifications at Yorktown.  I think it is a 32pdr.  Interestingly, here is another view of the same destroyed cannon but with different things around it.  My guess is this is later as the vroken tube parts seem to have been hauled away.  So, this was clearly a centerpiece attraction and a lot of staging was taking place.
