Somebody's bored...thanks Jimmy for the inspiration...

I’ve never seen a backward 55.

Got it when Dean-o auctioned off his stuff. Its published 3 times in his various books.
-
I’ll have to look. I’ve only read about 1 1/2 of the Roundball series.

Nicely presented, Mike.

Well displayed!

Nice display. What material did you use (the green) for the bullets? There was a recent thread about issues with styrofoam, at least in direct contact with lead.
-
The green is really a laminated board painted grey. The noses of the bullets are resting on the kind of velvet-like covers sold at shows for display cases. Since posting this I have found a few more base marked bullets I had. Not quite filled yet, but closing in on that...
Before this, most of the bullets had been displayed butts up in that floral foam flower arrangers use at the bottom of vases. No ill effects were observed from several years in that substance.

Thanks for the info about floral foam. I’m always keeping an eye out for display ideas
