Hello,
I was asked if I knew what type of bullet this was at the Dalton Show. I don't! ??? It appears to me to be unfired. It also appears to have square machined grooves much like the Williams bullets (mm352/T&T156B). The base is solid. The diameter is 0.565" and the height is 0.910". I did not have a good scale to weigh it. Any idea what it may be? Is it carbine since it has the solid base? Thanks.

Resembles a cleaner as well other than the obvious difference.

Williams type I with pin carved off.

Well Jim I think you may be onto something there! My base view image is a little fuzzy but I think I can make out where there might be the look of a stud.
Is the stud made of the same material as the bullet? Is it all cast one piece or is the stud a harder material (zinc?) that the bullet is cast around?

The pin on the type I is the same lead as the bullet body and is the bullet is all one piece. The type II and III utilize the separate "plunger" that is cast of "hardened lead".

Many thanks. Another day, another factoid picked up!
