Title: Happy 2020 from the lead side.
Post by: Jim T on December 31, 2019, 08:57:23 PM
In the spirit of bipartisanship, I offer a Happy New Year to the iron mongers of the forum.  Good collecting luck in 2020!

You'll see in the attached pic that even I have a few ballast pieces to hold the cabinet in place. Over half of which I did dig myself.

Sold more bullets at Charleston than shells!

Bought more shells than bullets......Ooops actually I didn't....As I typed this I realized I purchased a naturally segmented Bormann shell with sharps for the case shot.  Quite a few bullets there!  Neat buy.  Got iron and lead all in one purchase.

I got Dave the plumber's 8 inch mortar ball. It is now proudly in my collection.

The posting above was on Saturday.  On Sunday we sold a bunch more bullets.  Looks like 2020 is going to be the year of lead!
