Title: Help identifying possible projectiles

Hi,
       I am new to this forum.  I was wondering if anyone could please help me identify these potential projectiles.  I believe they possibly pre date the civil war.  They are from the cheseapeake bay region in Maryland possibly used in Naval warfare.  One is aproximately 2"X 5.5"  and weighs about 2.5 lbs.  The other is rudimentary iron and has rocks protruding from it.  Thanks for any help.
