thinking about buying a repro cannon, kinda liking the full scale mountain howitzer or maybe a 3/4, or 1/2 scale 6 pounder.
what do yall think about this brand in the link above do the specs appear safe to yall. the price seems economical so im concerned. or do you guys know of others that are safe and economical. I liked steen but cant afford those. I know the carriage is where the expense is.

South Bend Replicas produces high quality repros.  That said, in my limited experience, reproduction cannons are like new cars in that the price drops dramatically on the second hand market so that is where you are likely to get your best value.  They are often listed for sale in the back of The Artilleryman magazine and other places.  Good luck!
