Title: Some delicate Confederate fuses
Post by: emike123 on May 14, 2017, 02:12:07 PM
I finally decided to put these fragile fuses in a display case as much to protect them as anything.  Two on left are the chemical torpedo fuse igniters Greg Craven found in Sumter, SC.  Middle one is a Rains and at right are Girardeys, both complete and disassembled to show the serrated "knife" plunger.  These are the actual ones shown in Jones' fuse book.

Certainly not something you see every day.  Very neat.  Thanks for taking the time to share with everyone.
