The fabulous collection above has some very uncommon shells in it.  There is much more that is not shown in the above picture as well.  If you like artillery your blood pressure would rise considerably when you walked into the display room shown above.  It was amazing.

Yes, and yes.

I am just preparing a new inventory of the collection, and will surely need help in IDing some of the stuff. There are about 500 projectiles that need to be re-weighed, re-measured, and described. As I go, I will post stuff here for scrutiny.

Wow!!! What a site to see. I am extremely impressed with the display Mike photographed and posted here. I am strictly a bullet collector and Mike is doing his best to get me into artillery. After seeing this collection I may be inclined to start collecting the big bullets. Fantastic collection. Thanks for letting Mike share it with the rest of us.
