I think it broke down in Atlanta a year or two ago as well.  Don't recall it freaking out the authorities that time which just goes to show the continued downward trend in collective sound judgement and reasonableness. 

Just my opinion  ;)

Funny thing about that Hunley thingy.  I first saw it in Sparks, NV about 5 years ago.  Dangerfield still owned it and was hauling it around to various venues.  Nice guy.  FWIW, he could also write the book on motorcycles.

It is a very neat display and by now should have been modified several times to demonstrate the new information as revealed by the progressive restoration.

Wonder if they have a web page with a schedule?
