What time period?

I found this bullet in a cornfield , I was wondering. If you could tell if this is post CW. If so what years where they manufactured? Thanks

It looks to me like it is a copper jacketed bullet and I am guessing it is probably early 20th century or possibly later. It wouldn't take too many years for a patina to begin to develop. Measurements might help with an identification.

Definitely not that old. I have found patina covered bullets at our shooting range that only date back as little as 30 years ago.
