Dean Thomas

Jim T:
Early this afternoon Dean ended his three month struggle with lung cancer. Dean was my older brother by about 14 years. He should be remembered as a fine husband, father, brother, relic hunter, author, and publisher.  As far as this group goes, his life-time of collecting and ground breaking and extensive research regarding Civil War small arms resulted in "Ready, Aim, Fire, Small Arms Ammunition at Gettysburg", "Round Ball to Rimfire" (4 volumes), "Confederate Arsenals, Laboratories, and Ordnance Depots" (3 volumes) and numerous other reference works. Dean leaves a large void in the area of Civil War ordnance research!

Wac-a-mole!!!!

Dave:
