Dalton Show
« on: January 25, 2013, 07:15:11 PM »
Year after year the Dalton show has gotten bigger and, it seems to me, better.  It is next weekend;    This year appears to be no different as the tables are sold out; I even heard oversold.  :)  So here's hoping there will be lots of good stuff come through the door and on the tables.  Hope to see a bunch of y'all there!  Our northern ice bound members will have to take a break from the extreme cold and ice and come visit.   Current forcasts for Dalton are highs are around 44 and lows around 28.  My only complaint about Dalton is that for some reason the hotels seem higher priced there than elsewhere.  The show place is very good and convenient.
Best,
Carl

Mike, are you going to Dalton and slum around with Carl and Jim, or going to New Orleans for another grueling weekend of work  :)?

From my perspective the show was reasonably well attended.  Sales were decent.  As is normal, some complained and others had the best show in a long time.  I think in the end it all comes down to having enough items at good prices.  The challenge is that 'good price' is what the buyer defines it as and not the seller.  There seemed to be a lot of bullets there for sale and a few good shells.  As always, a good number of forum members came around and it was good to see them.
Best,
Carl

Indeed David, the Starr is on its way. Did you make it down to Dalton?
