Title: European Shell ID Help
Post by: Roy A on June 30, 2018, 10:27:56 PM
Here is another shell I have which I do not know much about. THe overal design reminds me of the Armstrong shells but I think it is Post CW.

Has old painted writing on the nose I can not make out fully.

Any ideas?

This is not it, but by comparison this is the Krupp shell fired 1877 in the Ottoman Russian conflict (from Poland).
