Dave, I'm just trying to be helpful here, with time-dating info.
According to Wikipedia:
"Having no children of his own, he [Harris Holland] took on his nephew Henry Holland as an apprentice in 1861. In 1867 Henry became a partner and in 1876 the name changed to Holland & Holland."
So, no Holland-&-Holland "brand" cartridges can be from earlier than 1876.
Also, other info in the Wikipedia entry says the Holland-&-Holland .375 cartridge first appeared in 1912. That's kinda late to be of interest at this forum.
