Battle of Shiloh Panel Discussion
« on: December 22, 2014, 06:22:20 PM »
Nice talk by some preeminent authors on the war in the west regarding various aspects of the Battle of Shiloh.  The panel includes Wiley Sword ('Shiloh Bloody April'), James Lee McDonough ('Shiloh - In Hell Before Night') and Larry Daniel ('Confederate Cannon Foundries' and 'Shiloh: The Battle That Changed The Civil War')   It has always been a fascinating battle to me due to the area, not being behind trenches and the various discussions on big opportunities missed by both sides.  Of course we certainly appreciate the variety of bullets and artillery that can be found in that area.

Great link Carl. I also have had an interest in the battle and Albert Sydney Johnston.
