  Not a striker inside.  The only fuzing ever seen in a "Selma" 2.5-inch Confederate Ball-Grenade is a wooden fuzeplug (with a paper timefuze).

  The Ebay seller's "Selma" Ball-Grenade is a real one, but based on being for sale there for a copuple of months and still unsold, seems to be significantly overpriced.
