I know some people are really into cannon sights. I have 2 friends who are really into them and generally point any I come across their way, but over the years I have kept a few:

Thanks for sharing the thesis. For those interested in sights I'd recommend you look at it. There are some interesting pieces shown and discussed. One interesting relic is the CS salvaged sight cover on page 61 that is marked "WNY". There is also discussion on windage, cannon barrel leveling, and more.
