Title: Unidentified Time Fuse Adapter;

To All Interested,
      The below time fuse adapter was found in a Selma shell.   Does anyone have an I.D. on it?  Ever seen one? What is the purpose of the four half moon shaped indents?

It opens just fine within the forum for me.  I've not heard of that situation that you describe.

Please pardon my confusion, but I am mystified by the diagram, and need further explanation.
  The "topview" portion of the diagram appears to show the timefuze adapter's entire body (which, presumably, is more than one inch in length).  But in the "sideview" portion of the diagram, the object looks like only the 1/4-inch thick head (or flange) of a timefuze adapter.  No threading is shown anywhere in the diagram.  Therefore, I have to assume that the object is about 1.25-inch wide and 1/4-inch thick, with no threading anywhere on it.  Is that correct?  What are the object's measurements?

        I bet he didn't draw the threaded section because it is unknown since it is still in the ball

Good question Pete, You are correct David,
    I only have a photo of the adapter screwed into a Selma projectile, so have no idea what the threaded portion looks like but I presume it looks like a regular C.S. time fuse adapter.
      I am really curious aobut the four indentations around the fuse opening.
