     Below is my rendering of the Broun shell and its Concussion Fuze.

John,great art work.Some 40 yrs ago, .I dug a few "Broun" shell in a swampy area on the Bentonville N.C Battlefield,and all were fitted with wooden drive in fuze plugs.I've never seen a "Braun" shell from this area with a threaded fuze well.Forgot to mention one of the shells I dug,had the remnants of a "Girrardy  Percussion fuze in the wooden plug Again thanks for the great Art work
