All -

I am seeking an example (wanna buy, trade, etc) of the field size friction primer with the flat ribbon-type pull ring as made in Selma.  There have been a few non-dug specimens circulated along with the several boxes that have surfaced over the years,  All of the boxes I have seen were labeled identically except for the year dates which as far as I know have only appeared as "1863" and "1864".  I would prefer a non-dug example but realistically can likely only afford a dug/river-recovered piece.  I'll post a pic of what I'm talking about later today if I can find it!

Thanks.

Mikie -

It was a really BIG one.  I'm still looking for a field sized example.  If you were a nice guy you'd exercise your influence and buy me one for my collection. In fact, you'd buy me the friction primer AND an original box - if you were a truly nice guy.  But......................
