Hey fellow lead heads,
I?m looking for detailed photos and measurements of 50 cal Morse cartridges and bullets. On the cartridges I?m especially interested in the rim and internal anvil. I would also be interested in purchasing an original cartridge and bullet if anyone has one available.
Thanks,
Mike

Nobody has a .50 cal Morse cartridge?

Sorry but I don't. :(

The two bullets and cartridges in my collection are the same as those in Roundball #4, items 190-193.
Bullets measure .524 diameter, .815 length, weight 324. Cartridge are measured almost identical to those in Roundball #4.
Sorry, but I can't get pictures to post!!

Agh, sent a PM.

Measurements and pics in RB-4.
We will have a pre-war Frankford Arsenal Morse cartridge with us for sale at Franklin in the large bullet collection we're bringing along to sell.

MGMRadio: Good to hear from you and hope life in AZ is suiting you. I have a complete Morse cartridge as well as a busted up one. I'd consider selling the complete one as cartridges aren't my bag so much as just the bullet slugs. Drop me an email.
