That is one great collection there and display, AggieReb. Did you dig all of those?

AggieReb/Wes:

A magnificent display it is—an artistic expression of craftsmanship and order.  My Riker cases salute you!

Beautifully done.  My coffee cans just don't look good by comparison!

3 thoughts:

1) "an artistic expression of craftsmanship and order" -- I think Dr. Beach just performed some psychoanalysis on you

2)  I admire your safety consciousness at having a fire extinguisher nearby -- need to prevent meltdowns

3)  Nicely done!

I loathe you. ;D

Nah, really that is a sweet display. Now I have to google and search eBAY and craig's list for optics cases and handkerchief displays. I have found wooden blueprint files but they were too pricey.

Wes, great job on the display.

Have you ever used or thought of using Bullet File by Tom Henrique. I have my collection on the software program and have a binder filled with the hard copies printed off. I then type and print out a sheet associated with each drawer with the bullet numbers corresponding. I will bring one of the display cases and the binder to Vicksburg this weekend so you can take a look. I think Stan still has the site listed on his web page to order the software and I believe it is around $20.00.

Let's see about this time in 8 months and it's cold and rainy an idiotic idea will pop into your head to rearrange your collection by the MM numbers. That will take a week to a month and then you will realize you left one of the bullets out and you will have to repeat the above procedure.

Next thing is you will find a great looking CS bullet with a super cold pour line on it and will have to place it next to the same MM bullet in your collection. Oops, gotta rearrange the bullets again.

The never ending perils of a leadhead.

You did a great job on the display.

NO - NJA3R :'(

Wes, as you purge let us know if you have any choice bullets (as in super condition) you are removing, some may need to upgrade the bullets you remove from the collection. I can't speak for anyone else but I continually look to upgrade on bullets unless it is a unique and special bullet due to dig locations, troop association, etc.
