« on: April 06, 2013, 04:44:06 PM »
Can anyone explain in layman's terms how the Shenkel fuse worked?
Thanks!

You can also find it by typing Schenkl Fuze in the search box, its the third entry.

There is a good description of how the Schenkl fuze operated in my book The Mechanical Fuze and the Advance of Artillery in the Civil War .
